Using up stash ...

Pillowcases take about a metre of fabric each -- thats quite a stashbuster when you get a bunch of cases made!! I've done 6 so far for ConKerrCancer.org ... and I have the fabric picked out for another dozen. I'm also busting stash trim on these ones - thats a lot of fun!!

And now for more entertainment from some weird minds ... apparently I wouldn't make the best human shield in the world, LOL!

  1. Love those pillow cases, Sandra! I know someone will be really touched by them.
My Mom received a quilt donated by a bunch of ladies last year when she underwent chemo and had to stay in the hospital for an extended time. That is something very special that you're doing. :)

Oh yeah, and if I ever need a human shield, I sure hope I'm with someone that has a higher percentage than you...you FAILED as a human shield! LOL

  2. Hi Sandra - thank you for leaving a comment on Rachael Rabbit. I've recently become obsessed by pillowcases - I can't seem to stop making them!

  4. You've been a busy bee since my last visit. I love the pillowcases and bibs. Really pretty vibrant colors that I'm sure the children will love. Your flamingo knobs are really cute. Can't wait to see what you'll do with them.
I took the human shield quiz and it says that I'd be 55% effective. I don't think anyone can count on me either!
    Aloha!
